Sam Arbor

Sam Arbor

Sam is a film and theatre director. 1/3 of theatre company Bedlam Chorus.
Sam Arbor won the BFI's annual "most promising talent" award at aged 16, with a prize of funding to make a short. Sam's short LIFELINE received a nomination for the Oscar/BAFTA qualifying Best Narrative Short Award at Rhode Island International Film Festival 2016. Sam has been recently commissioned one of two of Random Act's new 'major £10,000 commission'. His film 'yandass.mov' is a collaboration with dancer Yandass Ndlovu, and has worked alongside electronic duo 'Underworld' (Trainspotting, London 2012 Opening Ceremony) to create the soundtrack. He was selected as one of six directors on the National BFI Film Academy programme at the NFTS in 2015. 

As theatre director, Sam writes and directs new plays. Upcoming is 'butterfly' - untold queer stories - at the VAULT Festival, London 2020.

Harry Haden-Brown

Harry Haden-Brown

Harry is a London based Musical Director and Pianist. He received training from the National Youth Music Theatre and is a Music (BA) Graduate from the University of Bristol. Harry started his career with Music Theatre Bristol and has since conducted full professional orchestras for the Bristol Hippodrome, Winston Theatre, and McMillan Theatre as well as for large-scale corporate events. He currently balances work in Bristol and London as in-house Musical Director for monthly sell-out charity evening The Secret Cabaret, keyboard depping for professional and fringe productions, tutoring at several drama schools, and as an audition pianist for Really Useful Group, Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, Imagine Theatre & many more.

Jake Brunger

Jake Brunger grew up in Nottingham and now lives in London. His debut feature film LOVE SARAH starring Celia Imrie, Bill Paterson and Rupert Penry-Jones will be released in UK cinemas from April 24th following its world premiere at the 2020 Glasgow Flm Festival. His stage musical adaptation of Sue Townsend's THE SECRET DIARY OF ADRIAN MOLE AGED 13 3/4 - nominated for the 2017 Evening Standard Award for Best Musical - ran for a 16-week summer season at the Ambassadors Theatre in London's West End from June 2019 following successful runs at the Menier Chocolate Factory in London and Leicester Curve. The Original London Cast Recording is now available on Spotify, Amazon and Apple Music.

Simon Kane

Simon is a Director, working across Theatre and Film, based in London and working nationally. He trained in Theatre, Film and Television at the University of Bristol, including study at the College-Conservatory of Music (CCM), USA.

In Theatre, Simon's work covers a wide range, including musicals and plays. He has been involved with the development of numerous new musicals and plays and is also interested in reinvigorating established works for modern day audiences. One of Simon's specialisms is work that gets new audiences into theatres and family productions. He has worked in the West End, regional theatres and for major youth theatre companies.

Simon has worked extensively as an Associate, Assistant and Resident Director, working alongside directors including Luke Sheppard, Racky Plews, Joe Douglas, Emma Callander and Phil Willmott.

Jake & Pippa

Pippa Cleary

Pippa is a musical theatre composer, songwriter, lyricist and singer based in London. She is currently being mentored by Claude-Michel Schonberg (writer Les Miserables). Pippa’s musical In the Willows starring Clive Rowe is currently on an extensive UK tour and she is currently writing a new musical with Pocahontas and Mulan screenwriter Philip LaZebnik.

Pippa writes many of her shows in collaboration with playwright Jake Brunger.  Pippa’s music spans musical theatre, incidental music for plays, children's theatre and audiobooks, choral work and library music.  She consistently writes original songs for her business Pippa’s Poppets, baby & toddler music classes in central London. Pippa has a 2:1 BA in Music from Bristol University where she specialised in Singing and Composition. She previously studied Composition under Jeffery Wilson at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. and then went on to study Composition at the Conservatorio di Santa Cecilia in Rome and Music at L’Université d’Aix en Provence 1.

Luke Sheppard

Luke studied at the University of Bristol and trained under the inaugural Noël Coward Trainee Director Award at Salisbury Playhouse.
